EMS Reading What RPPEO Wrote

The American Board of Emergency Medicine has chosen an article from our research team for its 2022 EMS Lifelong Learning and Self-Assessment (LLSA) Reading List.

Julie Sinclair is the lead author on the publication, Characteristics, Prehospital Management, and Outcomes in Patients Assessed for Hypoglycemia: Repeat Access to Prehospital or Emergency Care. The study was published online in September, 2018 in the scientific journal Prehospital Emergency Care.
Other authors on the descriptive study included Michael Austin, Mark Froats, Shannon Leduc, Justin Maloney, Richard Dionne, Andy Reed & Christian Vaillancourt.

In selecting Julie et al.'s article, the reading list editors said that its articles are "highly relevant to the (EMS) subspecialty and represent the most important information that EMS physicians need to keep up with advances in medicine."

"Having your article selected for the EMS LLSA Reading List is an accomplishment for which you can be proud," the editors wrote.
